Black & White Abstraction
OBJECTIVE
Learn how to create 3D-depth on a 2D plane by abstracting an everyday object. After developing sketches, arrange different pieces of your object to create a final, black and white, composition.
MY DESIGN
The object I chose to abstract was a toothbrush. I depicted toothbrush bristles as if they were popping out of the page, winding in a way that created movement out of the focal point. The background layers were inspired by the grips on the side of a toothbrush.
